Feb 2010 - Installation of Basket swing
February 2 2010e now have a lovely basket swing installed in the recreation area by the side of the latest swings, and it is very popular- regularly having about 5-6 children hung on it at a time.
A very big thankyou to Sheffield City Trust who are the main funders behind this latest equipment- a very big donation of £3,000 from them made this possible, with a little additional help from Keepmoat foundation funding and Friends of Charnock funds. It is the latest of additions to the park and is suitable for children with disabilities, should a child wish to swing but need to lay down to do so this is ideal for them. Please spread the word that this facility is available.
