J.G.Graves Charitable Trust

Fantastic news from J.G.Graves charitable trust , who have very kindly donated £2,000 to the park funds. This money is to used to purchase two dizzy sticks for the recreation ground improvements, as these two pieces of kit were requested through consultation with the local children. We are sure many hours of fun will be had through these additions to their park. THANKS to all at J.G Graves, for your generosity!

School Disco

We were very happy once again to work in partnership with our local primary school - Charnock Hall - to put on a joint fund raiser disco for the children. The children were entertained by Billy Bodkin, who as usual got stuck in and kept them well occupied with party games and dancing

High Sheriff Awards

This was a lovely evening, Tracey Wilson - Chair of Friends of Charnock was nominated for the High Sheriff award for her committment to the community through this project. Tracey was nominated by fellow committee member - Chris. Not only was this felt an opportunity to enter for recognition of works carried out, but was a chance to win £500 for the park funds.
